About Me: Justin, a senior in the Hotel School, received the Hotel School’s “Most Valuable Board Member” award for CHS last year. Justin has served as the Director of IT/Web Marketing for two years, and he works as a tutor in the Hotel School’s Communication Center where he helps students improve their writing skills. Outside of the Hotel School, Justin is involved with Chinese Bible Study, a Christian fellowship at Cornell. He has also worked with non-profit organizations, such as World Concern and the American Red Cross outside of campus.
Aspirations: After graduation, he seeks to pursue a career in human resources management and sales and marketing.

About Me: Sung is an international transfer student who used to study at Penn State University. He lived overseas all his life, mostly in the Middle East including UAE, Jordan, and Egypt. Sung decided to study hotel management due to his extensive travels.
Aspirations: Sung plans to travel the world all over again.

About Me: Emily is currently a sophomore here at the Hotel School and is interested in real estate development. Here at Cornell, Emily is a part of the Greek society and is a sister of the Sigma Delta Tau sorority. Within the Hotel School, Emily is not only a member of the Cornell Hotel Society, Collegiate Chapter, but also is a member of Hotelie Entrepreneurs (HE). Last year in the “Apprentice” challenge hosted by HE, Emily’s team won!

About Me: James is a junior interested in focusing on hotel development and design. His passion for the industry began when he worked as a summer intern at the Sheraton Anaheim in high school. Having entered the Hotel School, he worked for the Professional Development Program during the summer, helping to manage a hospitality education program for international executives already working in the industry. This summer, James worked at the Starwood Hotels and Resorts Luxury Brand Group in New York City, where he assisted with the implementation of new corporate operating procedures. Along with being a member of CHS, CC, he is also a Communication Center tutor and a principal consultant for CHC Hospitality Consultants.
Director of IT Marketing - Yin Law '08

About Me: Yin graduated first began his studies at The Ohio State University in a Pre-Medical major. He later decided to travel to New York, where he graduated from The Culinary Institute of America as valedictorian. He was later accepted to Cornell, where he has recently discovered his interest in Legal studies. He is also a proud brother of Delta Sigma Pi, a prestigious business fraternity.
Aspirations: To get into Cornell Law School and hopefully open a restaurant in the future as a hobby.
