Michael, MMH '00, is the founder and partner of PKF hotelexperts in Vienna. Michael is also a founder of the CHS AlpAdria Chapter and continues to serve its members, as well as provide opportunities for his team to attend PDP courses at Cornell by awarding scholarships to them.

Secretary - Christophe Bergen
Christophe, Class of '76, a founding member of the AlpAdria Chapter, is based in Vienna and the managing partner of Hellberg Associates Hotel Consulting, currently busy assisting in the development of "Palais Schwarzenberg", transforming it into what will be one of Europe's top destinations.

Treasurer - Tine Brodnjak
Tine, GMP '04, is based in the town of Bled (on the shores of Lake Bled) in Sovenja, and is Asst. GM for Sava Hotels and Resorts (including the charming Grand Hotel Toplice).

Academic Development Chairman - Ivica Cacic
Ivica, MMH '98, one of the founding members of the AlpAdria Chapter, is based in Graz, Austria. He is a partner in Hotel Partner in Zagreb, Croatia and is VP Development for Marriott Hotels in the South-East Europe region.

Honorary Board Member - Arenda Weishaupt
Arenda, MS '61, Hon. Member, and her husband, Hans, Class of '64, one of the early Presidents of the European Chapter, live in the charming Appenzeller region of Switzerland. Both retired, Arenda and Hans are now more active in chapter activities and Arenda is dedicated to keeping the AlpAdria Chapter members in Switzerland "routing for the Big Red!"

Communications Chairman pro tem - Hani El-Sharkawi
Hani, PDP still in progress, is based in Vienna. He is the Department Head of MODUL Career at Vienna's Modul University, one of the 2 universities in Austria to offer both undergraduate and graduate programs in Hotel and Tourism Management in English.
