President - Rebecca Lee
Rebecca (Inhee) Lee, a native Korean, has devoted herself to the hospitality industry working at some of the greatest hotel companies in Asia like Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company L.L.C. With the experiences she gained from her previous positions, she has recently moved on to join Macao Studio City as a Project Manager for Hotel Development. Since earning her Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Hotel Administration in 2002, Rebecca has served the Cornell Alumni Organizations in various capacities - Vice Secretary of the Cornell Club Korea and Cornell Club Representative for Ivy League Korea Network. With her induction to the CHS Hong Kong Chapter as President, Rebecca continues to strive to better serve the chapter members. Rebecca also works closely with the Cornell Club Hong Kong to assist and support the network of the CHS Hong Kong members to the rest of the Cornell alumni in Hong Kong. Along with the CHS Hong Kong board, Rebecca looks forward to initiating new and exciting alumni programs/events for the members in the area.
Vice President - Howard Ho
Howard has been a consultant at Horwath HTL in Hong Kong since January 2007. Prior to this appointment, Howard spent 18 months at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara in Carlsbad, California. There, he spent half the time as a food and beverage management trainee, gaining valuable operations experience in various restaurant outlets. The other half of the time he spent as a project coordinator for a major banquet space renovation, managing the procurement process for furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Howard is a proud Cornell Hotelie from the Class of 2005 and looks forward to many fun, successful events with the Cornell Hotel Society—Hong Kong Style!
Secretary and Treasurer - Elaine Tseng
Elaine Y. Tseng joined Marriott International, Inc.’s Hotel Development Planning group in 2006 and has been based in Hong Kong. She performs feasibility studies for the development team in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Elaine was a consultant with Ernst & Young LLP’s Transaction Real Estate Advisory group in New York. She was involved in feasibility and financial analysis, market research, development planning and due diligence in both the hotel and tourism industries in the US and the Middle East. A native Taiwanese, Elaine was educated in Taiwan and the US. Elaine is a graduate of Cornell University (B.S. in Hotel Administration) and New York University (M.S. in Travel and Tourism Management).
