President - Howard Ho
Howard is a Senior Consultant with Horwath HTL. Prior to this appointment, Howard spent 18 months at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara in Carlsbad, California. There, he spent half the time as a food and beverage management trainee, gaining valuable operations experience in various restaurant outlets. The other half of the time he spent as a project coordinator for a major banquet space renovation, managing the procurement process for furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Howard is a proud Cornell Hotelie from the Class of 2005.
Vice President - Terence Loh
Terence Loh, vice president, is an acquisitions officer for JP Morgan Asset Management– Global Real Assets - Real Estate Asia, where he focuses on real estate investments in Greater China. Prior to JP Morgan, Terence worked at Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, AIG, Lehman Brothers and Perry Capital. Terence has more than 12 years of experience in both direct and indirect real estate. Terence holds both a bachelor’s degree from the School of Hotel of Administration and a MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
Treasurer/Secretary - Evatania Rachmat
Originally from Indonesia and based in Hong Kong since 2008, Tania is currently working as a hospitality strategy consultant on projects based in Hong Kong, China, and Indonesia. Prior to this, she was a trained architect and a certified LEED professional in California, working on feasibility studies and project managements of various luxurious hotel development projects such as Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton. She is a graduate of the MMH program, Class of 2008, with a focus on real estate finance and development. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University. She looks forward to serving the CHS HK chapter and joining the fun events!
Program Director - Noel Merainer
Noel has been on Marriott International's Asia-Pacific development team since 2008. Previously, he was with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in corporate revenue management. After graduating from Cornell in 2000, Noel joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and worked in operations and revenue management, most recently in Washington, until moving to Hong Kong in 2006.
