CHS Dinner During HICAP - Oct 11, 2007

If you will be in Hong Kong during the annual HICAP (Hotel Investment Conference Asia Pacific), please join us for the traditional gathering of the Cornell Hotel Society Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 11, following the evening reception. This year we’ll be bonding over Hakka cuisine (Chinese food with origins in Guangdong, Jiangxi, and Fujian provinces... known for its frugality and savory taste).
Date: 8:30pm, Thursday, October 11, 2007.
Venue: Hakka Yeye Restaurant — 2nd Floor, Parekh House, 63 Wyndham Street, Central
Price: HKD 550/person inclusive of food and beverages

CHS attends annual Ivy Ball - July 23, 2007
Cornell had the largest participation this year - Go Big Red!!! It was a fun evening of school spirit (we were close to winning the school song competition), getting all dressed up and sharing fond CU memories.
Annual Stanley Dragon Boat Championship
CHS entered a team - Big Red - in the annual Stanley Dragon Boat Championship. Although the team trained hard for three months, we didn't place this year. The weather was perfect thought and many fellow alumns came out for some good fun on the Horwath HTL/Big Red junk. Special thanks to Horwath HTL for sponsoring this event again this year.

CHS Hong Kong held a general meeting on February 12, 2007 and voted in our new Board of Directors!
