Board Member - Alison Gendron '00
Alison Gendron graduated from the undergraduate program in 2000. She worked for InterContinental Hotels Group in London from 2000 – 2002 and then for Pinnacle Advisory Group in Boston from 2002 – 2005. Alison returned to London in 2005 to work for PKF’s hotel consultancy team, and since September 2007 has worked as the Senior Manager of Investment Analysis for Host Hotels in London. She has been active in both the New England and London CHS chapters and has enjoyed attending the CHS European Regional meetings in Cairo and Vienna and this year in Berlin. Board Member - David Schlegel '07
David graduated from Cornell University’s Hotel School in December 2007 and joined Starwood Capital Group, a global real estate private equity fund, in their London office where he works in Acquisitions. His prior experience includes three years of hotel operations as well as internships in hospitality consulting with Ernst & Young in New York and real estate investment banking with Goldman Sachs in London.
Board Member - Abhishek Mehra '07
Abhishek joined Realstar Group (www.realstargroup.com), after graduating from the Hotel School in May 2007. In his current role, Abhishek seeks hotel and residential investment opportunities for the new Realstar European Capital LP Fund. Realstar Hospitality is a unique player, involved in all aspects of the business, as the owner, master franchisor, developer. operator and asset manager. Prior to this, Abhishek was project manager for a boutique hotel in Mumbai. His prior experience also includes two years of hotel operations and an internship in the hospitality and gaming group within Cushman and Wakefield in New York.
